Infinity Park is a 100-acre commercial and technology park in Derby, a vibrant hub for research, technology and business.
And thanks to a landmark building designed by Franklin Ellis Architects, it’s now home to an exciting new Innovation Centre.
Accounting for the distinctive architectural and structural design, Derry Ltd used Building Information Modelling (BIM) to develop and coordinate the services installations, helping the Innovation Centre achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating along with an A-class EPC certificate, reflecting its environmentally efficient design with the inclusion of LZC technologies such as Micro CHP, Photovoltaics and the use of natural ventilation systems.
Including office and workshop space, it will target companies hoping to break into, or expand their role in, the supply chains of large aerospace, rail and automotive companies in the Derby area.
Funding for the project was provided by the Government’s Regional Growth Fund and The European Union’s Regional Development Fund, as well as the City Council and University.
The partnership behind the project, Engineering Supply Chain Solutions, comprises Derby City Council, Cranfield University and the University of Derby.
