This landmark building, designed by Franklin Ellis Architects in Nottingham will be at the heart of the new Infinity Park in Derby. The partnership behind the project, Engineering Supply Chain Solutions, comprises Derby City council, Aston University, Cranfield University and the University of Derby.

The project design was undertaken utilising Building Information Modelling, (BIM), and Derry Ltd played a lead role under the direction of Franklin Ellis in the development and co-ordination of the services installations with the distinctive architectural and structural design.

The building will achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ Rating along with an EPC Certificate ‘A’, reflecting its environmentally efficient design with the inclusion of LZC technologies such as Micro CHP, Photovaltaics and the use of Natural Ventilation systems.

Including Office & Workshop space it will target companies hoping to break into, or expand their role in, the supply chains of large aerospace, rail and automotive companies in the Derby area.

Funding for the project was provided by the Government’s Regional Growth Fund, The European Union’s Regional Development Fund, as well as the City Council and University.
