Opulence begins at home
With incredible views over Hyde Park, the 106,000 sq ft collection of luxury private apartments and townhouses come with exclusive access to the 5* amenities and in-house services of its neighbouring Dorchester Collection London Hotel, 45 Park Lane.
Ranging from pieds-à-terre to a penthouse with a rooftop pool, these gorgeous residences were designed to ooze effortless comfort behind their lavishness. And who better to provide this invisible amenity and sophistication than Derry…
Out of sight, out of mind
Leading the development and co-ordination of services throughout, including the Pool, Spa and Gym areas, extensive use of 3D modelling enabled Derry to perfectly install feature lighting, alongside concealed and integrated services to provide maximum effect. This included the installation of bespoke cooling system with basement chillers and adiabatic coolers at rooftop level, which were discreetly hidden out of sight from the Penthouse terrace.
The residence has a Grade II listed external façade, within which we were able to carefully incorporate bespoke ventilation discharge terminals and intakes. During the project, over 2000 meters of linear LED lighting were installed, some of which were placed to highlight the impressive façade and other window designs.
Hidden sophistication
To top off the indulgency of the Mayfair Park Residence, Derry’s management, design and co-ordination skillsets allowed the installation of the Creston Controls satisfying features to be discreetly integrated into the building by the relevant specialists. The inclusion of these features – such as Lutron Lighting Control, Automatic Blind Control, AV/TV systems, space heating, comfort cooling, hot water and MVHR systems – provided an effortlessly luxurious gloss, allowing the residents themselves to enjoy their exquisite new homes with carefree comfort.
New beginnings
The Mayfair Park Residence development marked the start of a fruitful new relationship with the project’s main contractor, Ellmer Construction. Since the completion of the residences, Derry and Ellmer Construction have since collaborated on Kingsway Hall Hotel and Marylebone Lane 5* Hotel developments for Shiva Hotels.
